The Making of Zelda: An American Love Story

The story of the “making of” a potential Broadway musical based on the lives of the noted American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda. The production, with music composed by Frank Wildhorn, the Tony nominated composer of “Jekyll & Hyde” and many other shows, was staged at Flat Rock Playhouse, The State Theater of North Carolina and featured a huge cast of Broadway performers.

The Making of Chase Brock’s The Nutcracker

The story of the “making of” a very unique version of “The Nutcracker” as staged at Flat Rock Playhouse – The State Theater of North Carolina during the Christmas holiday season of 2012. The show was created, written, choreographed & directed by Chase Brock, the choreographer of “Spiderman” on Broadway. The special part of this story is that Chase grew up in Flat Rock and studied at the Playhouse YouTheater from the ages of 6 to 16, when he left to appear in “The Music Man” on Broadway. This “Nutcracker” is his gift back to his hometown.
